The Real Story Behind The Death Of Muna Obiekwe

Yes, actor Muna Obiekwe died of a kidney disease but there are untold stories you really need to know about the death of the handsome actor.
From some of the sad posts that Muna’s colleagues posted on their various social media accounts, it was made known that the actor, who is survived his wife and children, died after he could not afford the fee the Nigerian health care was demanding.
Nollywood actors, Uche Jumbo, Mike Ezuruonye, Stella Damasus and others who confirmed the death of the talented Nollywood actor, also in their posts made it known that they were all in the dark as to his health condition. Even Nigeria’s Actors’ Guild president, Ibinabo Fiberesima, was unaware of the actor’s illness before his sudden death.
Some of the actors and actresses confirmed from their posts also that the film industry in Nigeria is no better than a ‘make-believe’, as everyone is just content with the publicity and showing off involved in the business. Actress, Ify Okeke made it known that there are no real friends in the industry.
It is also true that the health system in Nigeria needs a revamp as unconfirmed reports said that the late actor needed only N50k for dialysis per day and Muna allegedly could not afford this. Ify Ikeke thinks that, although Muna did not open up to anyone in the industry about his health situation, most of our actors and actresses prefer showing off to helping fellow colleagues.
It would be recalled that the popular musician and music director, OJB Jezreel, had a kidney transplant in India with the help of his celebrity colleagues who donated generously. But in Muna’s case, there was a sad end, as the Internet went abuzz yesterday, Sunday, January 19, 2015 when news of his death surfaced online. Here are some of what his colleagues in the Nollywood industry had to say about his death…

Over nine thousand people on twitter have believed that he is still alive because of the fake twitter account. REST IN PEACE BRO! I was really hoping that it was a rumor. God rest your soul. This is too painful. Whoever put that message out not the fake twitter account should be careful. Don’t play games with people’s lives like that.

Buhari Is Deceiving Nigerians!

Buhari's family are somewhere in the UK and France spending humungous amounts of money on education and expensive Gucci & Channel shopping.

Buhari is here in Nigeria claiming to borrow 27million naira for his nomination form.

And for the people who would say that normal Nigerian's kids live and school abroad, they should also note that this is an issue just because Buhari put up a front of a poor Nigerian who cannot afford his nomination form. The Subject remains the height of deception by Mr anti-corruption who has all corrupt politicians as his support base.

Of Course the children of other Nigerians will be the ones to die when the MONKEYS and BABOONS engage in blood bath after the elections, while BUHARI'S Daughters are in UK.

Nigerians lets not be fooled again this Octogenarian has nothing of value to offer the only change to come from this man is negative change!

Vote wisely

Let the transformation agenda that is on course continue.

EFCC Recovers $23,886 For Another American Victim Of Facebook Love Scam

The latest recovery of $23,886 by the Commission was made in similar circumstances, for Jolanta Kasza, an American based in New York. She was fleeced of $64,000 by a suspected Nigerian fraudster, Ndekwu Jindu (aka Dr. Daniel Coffman) in a romance scam.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has been commended for helping to recover $2000 for an American victim of love scam, Margaret Sanders, just as the agency announced the recovery of $23,886 for another victim.
Sanders who lives in Sherman, Texas, made the commendation after she was presented with a cheque for the sum by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI.

She expressed delight at the professionalism demonstrated by the Nigerian agency in helping to recover the money which she thought she had lost to the scammer.
The FBI agent who made the presentation lauded the cooperation with the EFCC, while explaining that the FBI only facilitated the repatriation of the money after it was recovered by the EFCC.
Sanders met a suspected Nigerian fraudster, Benjamin Akugbe, online and fell in love with him. The scammer, who claimed to be Benny Brown from Warri, Delta State, promised her marriage, and requested the sum of $2000.00 USD to enable him join her in United States of America.
The money was wired to him through Western Union, into an account with the name, Gladys Ikpoba, domiciled with a new generation bank.
After an endless wait for the fiancé, Sanders came to the sad realisation that she had been duped. But her efforts to recover the money were unsuccessful until she petitioned the EFCC.
Kasza allegedly met Coffman online in June 2012, and the fraudster introduced himself as self-employed white pharmacist.
Impressed by the profile, Kasza “fell in love” with both agreeing to get married.
According to her, in the course of the affair, the suspect at different times requested for money under various guise. Before she realised that she was dealing with a con artist, she had lost $64,000 USD to the fraudster.
She consequently petitioned the EFCC, which through discreet investigation recovered $23,886 USD. The agency is in the process of repatriating the fund to the victim.

Reduce Fuel Pump Price Now, Nigerians Urge FG

Abuja residents on Thursday urged the Federal Government to reduce the fuel pump price, following the fall in oil price in the international market.
The price of oil began to slide in October 2014, hovering between 60 and 50 dollars per barrel.
Some respondents told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that it was international best practice for the pump price to come down when the oil price crashed.
Alhaji Hassan Giwa, a civil servant, said that government ought to have reacted to the fall in oil price by reducing the fuel pump price to N46 per litre.
“When crude oil was selling for about 100 dollars, we were asked to pay N97 per liter of petrol, now that it is selling for 52 dollars it should be reduced to at least N45 and N47,”he said.
According to him, most Nigerians are not happy with the attitude government had adopted towards the review of the pump price of petrol in the face of the crash in oil market.
He said that it was logical for a seller to sell the products at a lower price when he wais buying the products at a lower price from the market.
“In case of the Nigerian economy, it is when there is limited money in circulation that prices of goods and services go up,” he said.
Mr Philip Onu, a businessman, said that government should do the needful by reducing the fuel pump price in line with the fall in oil price at the international market.
According to him, there is no reason for government to drag its feet on the call by Nigerians to reduce the pump price.
“For goodness sake, governance is all about the welfare of the people and not what the people in government want; so I urge the leadership to act immediately, ” he said.
He stressed that the government had promised Nigerians before now that it would operate according to the market forces.
Mr Fatai Ajala, a taxi driver, said that government should listen to the call by Nigerians to reduce the pump price to at least N50.
He said that the reduction would reduce the pressure on Nigerians following the recent introduction of austerity measures by government.
A consultant, Mr Phil Mojekwu who differed, said that the idea of bringing down the pump price of fuel would be counter productive as the country depended on oil for its revenue.

“Left for me, the pump price of fuel should remain on the N97 per litre, to enable government to carry out its operations.( NAN)

My Wife Demands Money From Me Before Sex, Man Tells Court

My wife always demand money from me before allowing me to have sex with her, a retired civil servant, Mr Chibuzo Obiedefu, on Thursday told an Igando Customary Court, Lagos.

Obiedefu, 50, told the court that his wife, Philomena, whom he married seven years ago, was denying him of sex.

“My wife is always starving me of sex and if she will allow me, she will ask me to pay for it.

“And if I refused to give her money and wanted to sleep with her by force, she would hit me with any dangerous weapons she could lay her hands on,” he said.

The petitioner accused his wife of infidelity and alleged that she was dating a policeman in their area.

“Philomena is cheating on me; she is having an affair with a policeman and whenever I cautioned her, she will flare up,’’ Obiedefu said.

The petitioner said his wife had created enmity between him and his children.

“My wife is telling my children not to come close to me because I am a bad man.

“My children now distance themselves from me and I am now like a stranger to them,’’ the 50-year-old man said.

He pleaded with the court to dissolve his seven-year-old marriage because he was tired of the relationship and he was no longer in love.

Responding, the 40-year-old businesswoman denied all the allegations.

“My husband has sex with me anytime he feels like; and I only demanded for feeding money from him,’’ Philomena said.

The respondent claimed that she was not dating the policeman.

“The policeman is only a friend, no strings attached,” the mother of four said.

She urged the court not to grant her husband’s plea because she was still in love.

The President, Mr Rufus Adeyeri, adjourned the case till Jan. 21 for judgment. (NAN)

Yuletide: Lovers Flogged For Having Sex In Bus

An angry man has flogged two lovers who were having sex in his mini-bus in Ajegunle area of Lagos State, on New Year’s Day.
investigation revealed that the duo, Ben and Ajoke, were caught in the act at about 1:30am in a Volkswagen Fanagon bus at Iyalode street by the owner of the vehicle who identified himself as Bashiru.
Ben and Ajoke were said to have left the scene of a carnival on the same street and decided to have sex; unfortunately, it earned them the disgrace.
Bashiru disclosed that somebody told him that two lovers had sex in his vehicle during Christman eve celebration. The commercial driver said he had to set trap as he took the pains to wait patiently from a dark arena.
According to him, “The two lovers were standing close to the vehicle as they talked and fondled each other. I later saw the man pushing the door of the vehicle aside. I knew they were the same people. I also suspected that they wanted to have carnal knowledge in the vehicle again. So immediately they entered inside the bus, I quickly drew the attention of three strong men in my residence. We waited for some time before we struck. We beamed the torchlight and behold the two people were naked having sex. I decided not to take them to the police station but teach them the lesson of their lives.

“I ordered them to lie down in their naked state and flogged them. The man received 12 strokes while the female, six. They were the same people that did same on Christmas Day celebration,” he said

Buhari, Oyegun, Amaechi, Osinbajo Storm Lagos For Thanksgiving Service

The presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), General Muhammadu Buhari, APC national chairman, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, Rivers State governor Mr. Rotimi Amaechi and the party’s vice presidential candidate, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, were amongst eminent dignitaries that stormed Lagos State yesterday for the 2015 annual thanksgiving service.
Speaking at the interdenominational thanksgiving service hosted by the Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola (SAN) and his wife, Abimbola at the Lagos House , Alausa, Ikeja, Buhari said he believes every Nigerian should be free and secured to practice their different religion.
Buhari, in the service that was presided over the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye and other exalted clergy said, “I am honoured to participate in this annual thanksgiving service. This year thanksgiving service brings together all Nigerians from all states, Christians, Muslims and all religion in Lagos to thank the almighty God.
“Religion must never be used as an excuse to divide us, oppress others or gain unfair advantage. All my life I have expressed the belief that all Nigerians must worship God according to their wish.”
Buhari dressed in dark Kaftan added that, “The duty of government is not religion, security for all Nigerians regardless of tribe or religion is our commitment on this day of thanksgiving. We shall all seat together like this, rejoice and thank God together for the Almighty God to give us the country of our dream.”
Fashola had earlier lampooned certain individuals predicting doom for the country and the state in guise of religion, saying the predictions were heating up the polity.
He said the state government deemed it fit to hold thanksgiving service for sparing the lives of the people amid calamities rocking the country.
Fashola said,”Today, 364 days after, when girls have disappeared without trace, bombs have exploded in mindless orgies of violence.
“Nigerian towns and villages have been sacked. Our brothers and sisters have been displaced from their homes. Young children have died in stampedes while looking for jobs.
“Some of our brothers and sisters in the military have lost their lives while trying to defend you and I and the fatherland.
“I ask you all what else we can do than to give thanks, express our gratitude and praise God for surviving.”
He said it is important for people to know that they are alive not because they are better, but because of grace and mercy which should never take it for granted.
“Our appreciation must be reflected in our attitude of gratitude. In some parts of West Africa today, government has been forced to declare a lock down of people and restrict movement in this season of festivity because an infectious disease caused by the Ebola virus is yet to be brought under control.
“These countries are smaller than Lagos, Lagos is in fact bigger than many of them combined. Yet the same virus afflicted us, we sadly lost 13 lives, but today we are not under lock down.
“We can sit side-by-side, we can shake hands and we can move freely. Again there was grace, there was a coming together across ethnic, religious and government levels to address a common problem.”
He said it was high time the people focused their common humanity, and those things that they share together and focus less on those things that are different about them.
According to him, “Our languages, our religion, our ethnic origins are accidents of our birth and not the essential content of our humanity. If our creator wanted us to be the same it is not difficult for him to do so.
“Your faith is not better than mine, and if you think it is, I cannot quarrel with your opinion. You must respect my right to practice mine. That is why we gather today in the Centre of Excellence to thank and praise God together, Christians of different denominations, Moslems with different affiliations and traditionalists, because we are all grateful. That is the Spirit of Lagos.”

He used the opportunity to solicit support for APC candidates , saying “I hope you will choose wisely, I hope you will choose experience. I hope you will not experiment.”

‘Sales of Generator Will No Longer Be Lucrative’

The immediate past managing director and chief executive of the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KEDC), Mallam Idris Muhammed has said that the business of power generators will no longer be lucrative with the coming on board of power distribution companiesd.
He said that with what was in place before the new investors took over the company, lack of power supply in Kaduna and Nigeria will soon be a thing of the past.
Muhammed who was speaking to journalists at the weekend in Kaduna, said those whose business is the sale of generators should begin to think of another business as sales of generator while soon no longer be lucrative once the Kaduna power plant and the Gurara dam comes up fully.
He expressed satisfaction with his retirement, saying he is a fulfilled man having laid a very solid foundation in the KEDC which could stand the test of time.
“I have no doubt that the new investors have the capacity and will to improve on our successes but it will require patience on the part of the customers. I will continue to render my wealth of experience when called to do so in any capacity, but in the mean time I will be spending quality time with my family.
“My most challenging period is when there is no power to distribute to our customers because most of the places will be in darkness. Whenever this happens, what comes to my mind is how I can restore power to the dark areas.”

He, therefore, assured Nigerians to expect more uninterrupted power supply in the years ahead.

Collect You ID cards, NIMC Tells Eligible Nigerians

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has advised eligible Nigerians that enrolled for the national identity number to collect their Identity Cards (ID) at stipulated centres.

Mr Abdul-Hamid Umar, the General Manager, Corporate Communications of the commission made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Sunday.

According to him, the commission has notified people who enrolled and whose cards were ready by sending text messages.

“Many Nigerians have been enrolled in the national identity data base, though we are far behind the expectation.

“Nigerians, who have received text messages personalised to them, giving information that their ID cards are ready, should come to our centres for collection,’’ he said.

He said that the appropriate centres for the collection of cards had been stipulated in such messages.

Umar said that there were some Nigerians who had not come for enrolment in the national identity data-base.

He said that the commission was committed to ensuring that every eligible Nigerian was enrolled and issued ID card for identification.

In a separate interview, Mrs Titilola Ejiofor, an Assistant General Manager and Lagos State Coordinator of the commission, told NAN that the commission had 21 enrolment centres in the state.

According to her, the centres are Lagos State Head office in Ikeja, Lagos State University, Ikeja Army Cantonment, Eti-Osa, Ojo, Somolu, Oshodi, Amunwo-Odofin, Ayobo-Ipaja and Agege Local Government Secretariat.

Ojo Army Cantonment, NMC Qourra Apapa and Ijele Campus, Lagos Island are also parts of the centres, according to her.

Ejiofor, who expressed satisfaction over the turnout of Lagos residents for the exercise, added that a lot of eligible residents had been captured.
“A lot of people have registered in Lagos and in the country as a whole. So many people in Lagos have registered.

“People have been very positive, they come out each day to be enrolled and we have been given ID cards to them.

“We are opening more centres in the state, we are not just going to stop at the current available centres,’’ she said.

According to her, a Nigerian of 16 years old and above can visit any centres with valid means of identification such Driver’s Licence, International Passport and Voter’s Card.

She said documents such as educational certificate, photo identity from recognised educational institutions, pension’s photo ID and photo credit cards, among others, could also be used for enrolment.

Ejiofor, therefore, advised Nigerians to come out in the New Year for enrolment, saying that the registration would be a continuous exercise.(NAN)

Forbes Names Okonjo-Iweala Among Unsung Leaders of 2014

Forbes, the magazine provides “information for the World’s Business Leaders” has named Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinator of the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala among five unsung leaders of 2014.
The five leaders include Okonjo-Iweala, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican Secretary of State; Arati Prabhakar, director of the U.S. Department of Defense’s DARPA; HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, brother of Jordan’s King and Felipe Calderon, Former president of Mexico.
The managing director of BIC Consulting Lagos, Dr. Boniface Chizea does not wholly agree that Okonjo-Iweala is not being celebrated in Nigeria. “Nobody can say she is not being celebrated. She has received many awards for her commitment to her fatherland. Though, we have to contextualise the kind of celebration Forbes is talking about,” said Chizea.
“She is in active service to Nigeria and the applause may not come as anticipated but it will come later. That is one area Nigerians have to appreciate President Jonathan Goodluck Jonathan because this is the first time a woman is playing a dominant role in the government.”
Paul Laudicina, contributor to Forbes said: “Who are some of those non-headline leaders from all walks of life and geographies who are making a difference as they have demonstrated “capability, reliability and authenticity”? .
Paul admonished that the reason such leaders have not been identified may be because people “have not looked long or hard enough to find the real leaders right under our gaze”.
“We all know intuitively that none of our institutions would be working at all if there weren’t committed, capable, reliable and authentic leaders delivering on their promises day in and out, and adding value to the lives of the people they serve,” said Paul .

“We also know the difference a respected leader can make in inspiring broader support for noble humanitarian, peacekeeping, or governmental missions.”

Exclusive: Obasanjo Raises Squad Against Jonathan; His Secret Plot Exposed

Jonathan-and-Obasanjo

As President Goodluck Jonathan inaugurates his campaign team headed by Chief Tony Anenih on Monday in Abuja, TheCorrespondent can reveal that former president Olusegun Obasanjo has formed a think-tank to fashion out political strategies to absolve the shock of his planned interim government — believing that there would be no legitimate government in the country after 2015 general election.
Obasanjo’s secret plot, our correspondent has gathered, is said to be having the backing of a section of the international community, especially the United States of American.
The Obasanjo’s team, which has so far held two meetings – the inaugural meeting in Lagos and another in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, has 12 members. They include, Professor Peter Okebukola, former Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC); former Chief of Defence Staff, General Martis Luther Agwai; Professor George Obiozor; Mr. Steve Orosanye and Professor Ayo Banjo.
Other members of the team are Ahmed Joda; former Director-General of National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Idi Farouk; ex-Executive Director of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Chief Peter Igho; former Executive Chairman of EFCC, Malam Nuhu Ribadu and others.
An insider told TheCorrespondent that the plot was informed by a security report by some foreign interest groups that the 2015 general elections might be inclusive and the proactive need for ‘’Option B’’.
When contacted, a senior presidential aide confirmed last night that ‘’the presidency and the security agents are aware of Obasanjo’s different secret meetings with some people and a section of international community to destabilise the process to 2015 general elections’’.
Our source said that Obasanjo first alerted the presidency about his plans when he told Senate President David Mark-led team to his Abeokuta home in October 2014 that he was not sure of legitimate government in the country after 2015.
Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, Mrs. Josephine Anenih and Senator Saminu Turaki were parts of the Senate President President Mark’s entourage to Obasanjo last October on best possible way PDP could reconcile with him.
But responding to the Senate President-led team at that meeting, Obasanjo was quoted as saying that, ‘‘I have graduated from site-down-look; these days, I stand up to look so that I can see very well what is happening in my country. You all know my position on this matter. Unless PDP goes back to the era of 2007, we are just wasting our time. Yes, there might be elections in 2015; but I doubt seriously if there will be legitimate government after 2015’
Our source added that Obasanjo never concealed his premonition of the danger ahead, after the 2015 general elections, as he told the Senate President angrily, ‘Go I tell Jonathan what I said; there might be no legitimate government in this country after 2015’.
A presidential aide who pleaded anonymity because of the security dimension to Obasanjo’s move, said, ‘’The truth of the matter is that it is very difficult to understand what former President Obasanjo wants. If he demands for 10 things and you grant nine out of his 10 requests, he will use the one you fail to accept against you.
‘’President Goodluck Jonathan has promised never to say anything against Obasanjo after his (Jonathan) reply to his public letter. The President has continued to listen to Obasanjo’s different advices and his requests. But in most cases, his requests are self-centres. He thinks he is still the president of Nigeria.
‘’Obasanjo did the same thing to late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua and six months to Yar’Adua’s tenure, he stopped picking Obasanjo’s telephone calls. We shall see how far he, his team and foreign collaborators can go’’.
Minister of Police Affairs Jelili Adesiyan, also said recently in a public function in Lagos that a secret design by Obasanjo and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), to form an interim government has been uncovered.
Adesiyan said he had already directed the Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba; and the Department of State Service to arrest anybody that made inflammatory statements ahead of the 2015 elections.
According to him, “Many of those in the APC are disgruntled PDP members who are no longer relevant and because they could not have their way, they have started to heat up the polity. They have said they will form a parallel government if they lose.
“I have already told the IG and the DSS to arrest anybody making such mutinous and inflammatory statements.”

Emir Sanusi Lamido To Marry 17 Year Old Teenager!

The Emir of Kano, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (Muhammadu Sanusi II), is set to take his fourth wife. The bride is a 17-year-old daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, Alhaji Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa.

Sanusi, an accomplished banker, who became the 14th Emir of Kano last June, is a respected Islamic Scholar, and his decision to take a new wife is in line with Islamic injunction which prescribes a maximum of four wives for those who can treat all of them equally.

Already, Sanusi has three beautiful wives – Sadiya, Maryam and Rakiya.

Like in ancient times when bonds between empires were deepened by marriages among royals and nobles across boundaries, the betrothal of the Adamawa princess to Emir Sanusi II may also be a move to deepen royal bond between Adamawa and Kano. Historically, both emirates have similar origins in the 19 century Usman dan Fodio’s jihad.

I Asked Gerrard To Join Madrid – Zidane

Zinedine Zidane has revealed he told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to sign Steven Gerrard in the summer of 2004 – but the Liverpool captain would not leave Anfield.
Zidane wanted the then-England international to partner him in midfield but Gerrard stayed loyal to Liverpool, turning down a move to the Bernabeu on two occasions.
Gerrard announced on Friday he will leave Liverpool at the end of this Barclays Premier League season after 26 years, and Zidane has expressed admiration for the 34-year-old’s dedication.
‘I have said in the past that at his peak he wasthe best in the world,’ said Zidane.
‘I think it was the summer of 2004 I was having a conversation with Florentino (Perez) and I told him I wanted him to partner me in midfield for Madrid.
‘I know the club tried twice but he wouldn’t leave Liverpool. Not many players turn down Real Madrid but I think that tells you a lot about the loyalty of the man.’
Gerrard has never won the Premier League with Liverpool, going close last year as they finished runners up to champions Manchester City by two point
The former England captain turned down a contract extension at Liverpool in November, and has been free to negotiate with overseas clubs since January 1.
Gerrard confirmed he will move to Major League Soccer, with LA Galaxy, New York City and New York Red Bulls among those interested, and Zidane feels it is the right move with trophies there for the taking.

‘It is incredible he has never won a league title but he has had success with Liverpool,’ Zidane added. ‘The years of him winning trophies are not behind him. I am sure he will be very successful in the MLS.’

How To Delay Menstruation With Home Remedies

Women can plan their events in such a way so that their periods do not overly interfere with their plans and other social commitments.
Having your periods during a crucial swimming competition, romantic holiday, honeymoon or an important social event can be a real dampener. Many women are exploring this option of delaying their periods during crucial events, as it becomes an unwanted hassle.
Remedies to delay menstruation
While it is best to not disrupt the natural hormonal cycle of the body, there are some simple and natural ways of delaying your menstruation with home remedies.
Birth Control Pills
The hormone progesterone is said to support menstruation. Keeping the progesterone levels high in your body will prevent menstruation from occurring.
Progesterone tricks the brain into thinking that the body is pregnant and menstruation does not occur. Make sure you take a progesterone only mini pill to prevent your menses from occurring. Discuss the various possibilities with your doctor who can help you out.
Tampons
While the use of tampons does not prevent menstruation from occurring, they are more hygienic and less messy to use especially if you are on your honeymoon or are participating in a swimming competition. In fact, many swimmers use tampons during swimming competitions as it is less messy and does not hinder with their ability to swim.
Pre-Poning the Period
Sometimes it is best to simply prepone the period rather than postpone it. This too can be done with the help of hormonal induction. You will however have to discuss the possibilities with your doctor for the same.
Ginger
Ginger is very potent and is said to produce heat in the body. It is said that drinking strong ginger infused tea is said to accelerate the onset of the menstrual cycle. Often, drinking ginger tea can induce menstrual cramps and start the periods.
Parsley
Parsley leaves are said to induce menstruation though there is no scientific data to back this. Have a few crushed parsley leaves, which have been infused in water or tea in order to induce and start menstruation.
Hot Foods
Ancient science has suggested that consumption of certain hot foods tends to start the periods and can result in painful cramps. These include hot and spicy foods that induce menstruation. Certain foods that produce heat like mangoes and papayas may also induce bleeding.
That is why having these fruits during pregnancy is not usually recommended. Try increasing your intake of spicy food and fruits like papaya for an early start of the menstrual cycle.
Stress and Fasting
Some women are naturally able to delay their menstrual cycles due to extreme stress and fasting. However, this is not recommended as this can also prove to be dangerous to the body in several ways. Fasting can lead to severe malnutrition and extreme stress can take a toll on other health parameters as well.
At times, it is just advisable to not interfere with your natural menstrual cycle but to let it run its own natural course and allow it to occur. Women can plan their events in such a way so that their periods do not overly interfere with their plans and other social commitments
Emergency Contraceptive Pills (ECP)
Emergency contraception (EC) is a dose of progestogen (levonorgestrel) taken after sexual intercourse to reduce the risk of pregnancy. It’s sometimes wrongly called the morning-after pill, because it can be taken up to five days after unprotected sex, although it’s more effective the sooner it’s taken.
They can be used when a woman has had unprotected sex or when contraception has failed. This could include not using contraception a condom breaking or slipping off, when more than 2 consecutive contraceptive pills are forgotten, forced intercourse (rape/sexual assault).

Most women can take Emergency Contraceptive Pills, even women who cannot take oral contraceptive pills, or who get side effects from the Pill such as migraine. You can take the ECP if you are taking oral contraceptive pills.

Predictions: The Good, The Bad And The Ghastly

It’s foolish to argue with a man who says God said. You take it or leave it. At this time of the year, persons who claim they have seen the future by some divine connection inundate the public with predictions of what is going to happen in the new year.
Even outside the realm of faith, predictions can be hazardous. There’s hardly any effective way of keeping predictors honest. A student of Leon Trotsky, one of the leaders of the Russian revolution, once said of him that the proof of his farsightedness is that none of his predictions had come true yet.
Yet, since the future is the only bargain store where hope is the currency, we can hardly resist looking in.
I’ve been doing that in the last few days, but unlike in the previous years, I started this year by looking at how much of the divine predictions made on the eve of 2013 actually came true in 2014. A certain Prophet Babatunde Ayodele of a Lagos-based evangelical church, who claimed he predicted the Bellview and Sosoliso plane crashes in 2005, was at it again in December 2013.
Among other things, he predicted that there would be a massive surge in oil prices in 2014, a devastating sea surge in Lagos and deterioration in the health of First Lady Patience Jonathan, almost unto death. By the time of writing this piece, just about 12 hours before New Year’s Eve, none of the three predictions had come true.
In fact, the year was closing with record lows in oil prices, beach parties at the shores of Lagos waterfronts and a First Lady in robust health and set to claim the prize of ghastliest public commentator of the year.
But to be fair to the prophet, he was on point on the removal of the PDP chairman, Bamanga Tukur, who was already in purgatory when the prediction was made, the oil workers’ strike and the catastrophic warfare between former president Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan.
For 2015, two predictions have struck me so far. They are the one by Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and the one by Primate Olabayo, founder of the Lagos-based Evangelical Church of Yahweh.
First, Kalejaiye. In his column in the Sun last week, Mike Awoyinfa quoted Kalejaiye as saying there would be a “pleasant surprise in 2015.” He reportedly told the congregation to “go and mark my words.” Kalejaiye lamented the level of corruption in the country and asked whether it made sense to play the religious, ethnic or crony card in the face of the suffering in the land.
The key thing he said was surprise, which has sparked off a huge debate in cybernistan about what he really meant.
Most think Kalejaiye is pro-Buhari/Osinbajo, especially because the APC vice presidential candidate is a senior pastor in Redeemed Church. They insist that the “pleasant surprise” means Buhari/Osinbajo will win the February 14 presidential poll.
My advice to both sides is neither to get mad nor complacent. Anyone who follows these things closely must understand by now that the first rule of divine prediction is to leave enough room for manoeuvre. The prediction must be pointed enough for you to get the credit when it goes right and vague enough allow for deniability when it goes wrong.
By the same token that some have claimed Kalejaiye was speaking of an upset, if it doesn’t happen, it might also be safely argued that Jonathan’s survival, in spite of the tough odds against him, will also be a pleasant surprise.
You only need to read the last part of Awoyinfa’s column where Kalejaiye was apparently speaking of Governor Kashim Shettima letting the Chibok girls go ahead with their exams in spite of an alleged warning to the contrary, to get the point. He was for APC and against it at the same time.
Yet there’s obviously one prophet who doesn’t mind hanging out to dry. Primate Olabayo is not a stranger to controversy. He predicted that Al Gore would win the US election in 2005 only for George Bush to emerge. In 2010 he prophesied that the tide of the post-election crisis in 2011 would sweep Jonathan away. The violence, which didn’t need a prophet to happen, occurred and over 1,000 lives were lost.
And Jonathan? He transformed from a lamb to a lion, and very much in charge.
Olabayo is at it again. He has, among other things, predicted that there might not be elections next year, and that even if elections are held, there would be a stalemate. According to him, the seat of the president is not vacant; in other words, expect Jonathan to win. The talk of whether or not there would be elections next year or the chances of the elections ending in a stalemate are not exclusive matters of divine visitation. It’s being spoken about in the ivory towers and discussed in beer parlours. Was that not the whole point of Bolaji Akinyemi’s open letter to Jonathan and Buhari in which he asked them to sign a pact of restraint?
If we’ll have to listen to Olabayo – for foretelling beer parlour common wisdom – then he either has to get a fresh anointing or we enlist him in the book of fake prophets.
And in case he thinks we’ll forget this gaffe as we have the previous ones, we’ll wait to see the result of the governorship election in Lagos which he said would be won by the PDP. Except if the hosts of heaven have been enfranchised and are under divine instruction to line up behind Bode George and Jimi Agbaje, I don’t know how this would come about.
The structures in Lagos, from the ward level up, are so firmly in the hands of the APC that any prediction of their displacement can only be a joke. But Olabayo might respond that in God’s book, there are numerous examples of the triumph of the weak over the strong. Only a fool will argue with a man who says God said.

We’ll see. February 28 is not a century away.

10 Facts About M*sturbation They Don’t Want You To Know

I do not expect that this article will change anyone’s mind about anything. I do feel that someone ought to speak out about this thorny subject and present clear facts and info about it for the benefit of those who have been harassed and made to feel less than human because they masturbate.

What Is Masturbation?
Masturbation is the sexual stimulation of one’s own genitals, usually to the point of orgasm. The stimulation can be performed using the hands, fingers, everyday objects, or dedicated sex toys. I lifted that definition right off Wikipedia, as it is an accurate description and I do not feel compelled to reinvent the wheel.

Masturbation Is Not A Sin

As I am a Christian (while this article is not religious in nature), I feel a need to speak out for the Bible. There is not one verse of the Bible that condemns self-stimulation. There is not one that insinuates such a condemnation. Yet, day after day, we hear preachers condemn masturbation as a sin. Their arguments?
There is the argument that sex was created for mutual pleasure: Yes; I agree. Sex was. But masturbation is not sex. It is sexual, and many other things are sexual, but it is not sexual intercourse in itself. Sex is for mutual benefits; masturbation is for personal benefits. Two different things. Yet, as I shall show later, masturbation can be helpful in enhancing sexual intercourse. Not only is it not a sin, it is a good thing.
There is also the argument that Jesus said if you lust after the opposite sex in your mind, you are sinning. Yes; that is correct too, but then what part of physically stimulating yourself with the hands, fingers or any other object is lusting after someone in your mind? If a Christian lusts after someone in their heart while masturbating, then such a one has crossed the line that Jesus drew. That does not make masturbation in itself a sin. That person has merely corrupted a clean act and needs to deal with his or her thoughts.
Someone asked me yesterday how I want to prove that “those activities are censored and powered by the Holy Spirit”. Let me ask a question in response: Have you ever given any thought to what happens during actual sexual intercourse? A man and a woman panting, sweating and heaving like two idiots. All those cool looking dudes in suits (yes; that includes me) don’t look so cool when banging their women and look like grotesque demons when having an orgasm. What seems Holy Ghost approved and powered about a hormone-raging man ramming a stiff rod into a woman again and again and having her moan like an animal? And as for the women, all those prim and proper women we see in public often look like demon-possessed pagan priestesses during intercourse.
Seriously, apart from the “Jesus!! Jesus!!” that some of the women cry out when in the throes of a good romp or an orgasm, there cannot be anything about sex that looks like the Holy Ghost gives approval to the activity. Yet, He does. Case closed. The issue of Holy Ghost approval and all that is in the mind. The Bible that Christians claim to uphold does not make an issue of these things or of masturbation.
I am tired of Christians being so close-minded that they manufacture rules to help God. First, God doesn’t need your help. Second, take a look around you and ask yourself if this close-mindedness has helped your homes. Sexually dissatisfied husbands and wives everywhere, many of whom will not speak out though their marriages are in shambles. And many of them stubbornly refusing to look at facts when presented to them. Their call still.

Masturbation Is Addictive

Yes; it is. But then, so are mobile phones, food, chocolate, wine, Coke, Twitter, Facebook and football. Yet, no-one is screaming “Sin!!!” for all those. Oh, even sexual intercourse itself is addictive. Let’s just lay aside all those things because they are addictive; shall we? No; how to deal with anything that has the potential for being addictive is not to stay away from it, but to exercise moderation.

Masturbation Is Not A Dirty habit

Some people call masturbation a dirty habit. In what sense? It produces mostly the same results as sexual intercourse – the man ejaculates. The woman has an orgasm and in some cases squirts. What else? Masturbation is just as dirty as sexual intercourse is, as far as I can tell.

Masturbation Is Healthy

In general, the medical community considers masturbation to be a natural and harmless expression of sexuality for both men and women. It does not cause any physical injury or harm to the body, and can be performed in moderation throughout a person’s lifetime as a part of normal sexual behavior. Source
If you use other objects apart from your hands, be careful though so you don’t hurt yourself. Perhaps you should visit a sex shop for some toys instead.

APC Chairman In Lagos Caught NAK£D Performing Rituals In The Forest

A shocking video allegedly showing a Lagos State politician performing a strange ritual while naked has been posted on the internet by a controversial Nigerian pastor.
The video titled, ‘APC – A Satanic Party’ was posted on video-sharing website YouTube by ‘Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin’, the General Overseer of Lagos based ministry Resurrection Praise Ministries International, popularly known as ‘Jehovah Sharp-Sharp’.
In it, a man he alleges to be Hon. Olusola Israel Adekunle, the local government chairman of Alimosho, Lagos, is seen stark naked in a swampy area sitting on a horse. He is heard muttering some unintelligible words before pouring a reddish substance all over him which the cleric described as ‘human blood’.
The video was preempted by an article on a Nigerian blog several months ago, revealing that during the ‘ritual’, Hon Adekunle had placed curses on his political enemies while appealing for favour in the eyes of the national leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
In his comments, ‘Archbishop’ Benjamin alleges that the same ritual has been undertaken by all prominent members of APC, describing the political party as ‘satanic’.
“Has Papa E.A Adeboye of RCCG allowed Pastor Prof. Yemi Osibanjo go through the same ritual process or will he allow him to do it,” the cleric then ponders, insisting that although Adeboye is his spiritual father, he has permitted politics to compromise his Christian faith.

Adekunle has yet to respond to the divisive video.
