Emir Sanusi Lamido To Marry 17 Year Old Teenager!

The Emir of Kano, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (Muhammadu Sanusi II), is set to take his fourth wife. The bride is a 17-year-old daughter of the Lamido of Adamawa, Alhaji Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa.

Sanusi, an accomplished banker, who became the 14th Emir of Kano last June, is a respected Islamic Scholar, and his decision to take a new wife is in line with Islamic injunction which prescribes a maximum of four wives for those who can treat all of them equally.

Already, Sanusi has three beautiful wives – Sadiya, Maryam and Rakiya.

Like in ancient times when bonds between empires were deepened by marriages among royals and nobles across boundaries, the betrothal of the Adamawa princess to Emir Sanusi II may also be a move to deepen royal bond between Adamawa and Kano. Historically, both emirates have similar origins in the 19 century Usman dan Fodio’s jihad.

I Asked Gerrard To Join Madrid – Zidane

Zinedine Zidane has revealed he told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to sign Steven Gerrard in the summer of 2004 – but the Liverpool captain would not leave Anfield.
Zidane wanted the then-England international to partner him in midfield but Gerrard stayed loyal to Liverpool, turning down a move to the Bernabeu on two occasions.
Gerrard announced on Friday he will leave Liverpool at the end of this Barclays Premier League season after 26 years, and Zidane has expressed admiration for the 34-year-old’s dedication.
‘I have said in the past that at his peak he wasthe best in the world,’ said Zidane.
‘I think it was the summer of 2004 I was having a conversation with Florentino (Perez) and I told him I wanted him to partner me in midfield for Madrid.
‘I know the club tried twice but he wouldn’t leave Liverpool. Not many players turn down Real Madrid but I think that tells you a lot about the loyalty of the man.’
Gerrard has never won the Premier League with Liverpool, going close last year as they finished runners up to champions Manchester City by two point
The former England captain turned down a contract extension at Liverpool in November, and has been free to negotiate with overseas clubs since January 1.
Gerrard confirmed he will move to Major League Soccer, with LA Galaxy, New York City and New York Red Bulls among those interested, and Zidane feels it is the right move with trophies there for the taking.

‘It is incredible he has never won a league title but he has had success with Liverpool,’ Zidane added. ‘The years of him winning trophies are not behind him. I am sure he will be very successful in the MLS.’

How To Delay Menstruation With Home Remedies

Women can plan their events in such a way so that their periods do not overly interfere with their plans and other social commitments.
Having your periods during a crucial swimming competition, romantic holiday, honeymoon or an important social event can be a real dampener. Many women are exploring this option of delaying their periods during crucial events, as it becomes an unwanted hassle.
Remedies to delay menstruation
While it is best to not disrupt the natural hormonal cycle of the body, there are some simple and natural ways of delaying your menstruation with home remedies.
Birth Control Pills
The hormone progesterone is said to support menstruation. Keeping the progesterone levels high in your body will prevent menstruation from occurring.
Progesterone tricks the brain into thinking that the body is pregnant and menstruation does not occur. Make sure you take a progesterone only mini pill to prevent your menses from occurring. Discuss the various possibilities with your doctor who can help you out.
Tampons
While the use of tampons does not prevent menstruation from occurring, they are more hygienic and less messy to use especially if you are on your honeymoon or are participating in a swimming competition. In fact, many swimmers use tampons during swimming competitions as it is less messy and does not hinder with their ability to swim.
Pre-Poning the Period
Sometimes it is best to simply prepone the period rather than postpone it. This too can be done with the help of hormonal induction. You will however have to discuss the possibilities with your doctor for the same.
Ginger
Ginger is very potent and is said to produce heat in the body. It is said that drinking strong ginger infused tea is said to accelerate the onset of the menstrual cycle. Often, drinking ginger tea can induce menstrual cramps and start the periods.
Parsley
Parsley leaves are said to induce menstruation though there is no scientific data to back this. Have a few crushed parsley leaves, which have been infused in water or tea in order to induce and start menstruation.
Hot Foods
Ancient science has suggested that consumption of certain hot foods tends to start the periods and can result in painful cramps. These include hot and spicy foods that induce menstruation. Certain foods that produce heat like mangoes and papayas may also induce bleeding.
That is why having these fruits during pregnancy is not usually recommended. Try increasing your intake of spicy food and fruits like papaya for an early start of the menstrual cycle.
Stress and Fasting
Some women are naturally able to delay their menstrual cycles due to extreme stress and fasting. However, this is not recommended as this can also prove to be dangerous to the body in several ways. Fasting can lead to severe malnutrition and extreme stress can take a toll on other health parameters as well.
At times, it is just advisable to not interfere with your natural menstrual cycle but to let it run its own natural course and allow it to occur. Women can plan their events in such a way so that their periods do not overly interfere with their plans and other social commitments
Emergency Contraceptive Pills (ECP)
Emergency contraception (EC) is a dose of progestogen (levonorgestrel) taken after sexual intercourse to reduce the risk of pregnancy. It’s sometimes wrongly called the morning-after pill, because it can be taken up to five days after unprotected sex, although it’s more effective the sooner it’s taken.
They can be used when a woman has had unprotected sex or when contraception has failed. This could include not using contraception a condom breaking or slipping off, when more than 2 consecutive contraceptive pills are forgotten, forced intercourse (rape/sexual assault).

Most women can take Emergency Contraceptive Pills, even women who cannot take oral contraceptive pills, or who get side effects from the Pill such as migraine. You can take the ECP if you are taking oral contraceptive pills.

Predictions: The Good, The Bad And The Ghastly

It’s foolish to argue with a man who says God said. You take it or leave it. At this time of the year, persons who claim they have seen the future by some divine connection inundate the public with predictions of what is going to happen in the new year.
Even outside the realm of faith, predictions can be hazardous. There’s hardly any effective way of keeping predictors honest. A student of Leon Trotsky, one of the leaders of the Russian revolution, once said of him that the proof of his farsightedness is that none of his predictions had come true yet.
Yet, since the future is the only bargain store where hope is the currency, we can hardly resist looking in.
I’ve been doing that in the last few days, but unlike in the previous years, I started this year by looking at how much of the divine predictions made on the eve of 2013 actually came true in 2014. A certain Prophet Babatunde Ayodele of a Lagos-based evangelical church, who claimed he predicted the Bellview and Sosoliso plane crashes in 2005, was at it again in December 2013.
Among other things, he predicted that there would be a massive surge in oil prices in 2014, a devastating sea surge in Lagos and deterioration in the health of First Lady Patience Jonathan, almost unto death. By the time of writing this piece, just about 12 hours before New Year’s Eve, none of the three predictions had come true.
In fact, the year was closing with record lows in oil prices, beach parties at the shores of Lagos waterfronts and a First Lady in robust health and set to claim the prize of ghastliest public commentator of the year.
But to be fair to the prophet, he was on point on the removal of the PDP chairman, Bamanga Tukur, who was already in purgatory when the prediction was made, the oil workers’ strike and the catastrophic warfare between former president Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan.
For 2015, two predictions have struck me so far. They are the one by Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and the one by Primate Olabayo, founder of the Lagos-based Evangelical Church of Yahweh.
First, Kalejaiye. In his column in the Sun last week, Mike Awoyinfa quoted Kalejaiye as saying there would be a “pleasant surprise in 2015.” He reportedly told the congregation to “go and mark my words.” Kalejaiye lamented the level of corruption in the country and asked whether it made sense to play the religious, ethnic or crony card in the face of the suffering in the land.
The key thing he said was surprise, which has sparked off a huge debate in cybernistan about what he really meant.
Most think Kalejaiye is pro-Buhari/Osinbajo, especially because the APC vice presidential candidate is a senior pastor in Redeemed Church. They insist that the “pleasant surprise” means Buhari/Osinbajo will win the February 14 presidential poll.
My advice to both sides is neither to get mad nor complacent. Anyone who follows these things closely must understand by now that the first rule of divine prediction is to leave enough room for manoeuvre. The prediction must be pointed enough for you to get the credit when it goes right and vague enough allow for deniability when it goes wrong.
By the same token that some have claimed Kalejaiye was speaking of an upset, if it doesn’t happen, it might also be safely argued that Jonathan’s survival, in spite of the tough odds against him, will also be a pleasant surprise.
You only need to read the last part of Awoyinfa’s column where Kalejaiye was apparently speaking of Governor Kashim Shettima letting the Chibok girls go ahead with their exams in spite of an alleged warning to the contrary, to get the point. He was for APC and against it at the same time.
Yet there’s obviously one prophet who doesn’t mind hanging out to dry. Primate Olabayo is not a stranger to controversy. He predicted that Al Gore would win the US election in 2005 only for George Bush to emerge. In 2010 he prophesied that the tide of the post-election crisis in 2011 would sweep Jonathan away. The violence, which didn’t need a prophet to happen, occurred and over 1,000 lives were lost.
And Jonathan? He transformed from a lamb to a lion, and very much in charge.
Olabayo is at it again. He has, among other things, predicted that there might not be elections next year, and that even if elections are held, there would be a stalemate. According to him, the seat of the president is not vacant; in other words, expect Jonathan to win. The talk of whether or not there would be elections next year or the chances of the elections ending in a stalemate are not exclusive matters of divine visitation. It’s being spoken about in the ivory towers and discussed in beer parlours. Was that not the whole point of Bolaji Akinyemi’s open letter to Jonathan and Buhari in which he asked them to sign a pact of restraint?
If we’ll have to listen to Olabayo – for foretelling beer parlour common wisdom – then he either has to get a fresh anointing or we enlist him in the book of fake prophets.
And in case he thinks we’ll forget this gaffe as we have the previous ones, we’ll wait to see the result of the governorship election in Lagos which he said would be won by the PDP. Except if the hosts of heaven have been enfranchised and are under divine instruction to line up behind Bode George and Jimi Agbaje, I don’t know how this would come about.
The structures in Lagos, from the ward level up, are so firmly in the hands of the APC that any prediction of their displacement can only be a joke. But Olabayo might respond that in God’s book, there are numerous examples of the triumph of the weak over the strong. Only a fool will argue with a man who says God said.

We’ll see. February 28 is not a century away.

10 Facts About M*sturbation They Don’t Want You To Know

I do not expect that this article will change anyone’s mind about anything. I do feel that someone ought to speak out about this thorny subject and present clear facts and info about it for the benefit of those who have been harassed and made to feel less than human because they masturbate.

What Is Masturbation?
Masturbation is the sexual stimulation of one’s own genitals, usually to the point of orgasm. The stimulation can be performed using the hands, fingers, everyday objects, or dedicated sex toys. I lifted that definition right off Wikipedia, as it is an accurate description and I do not feel compelled to reinvent the wheel.

Masturbation Is Not A Sin

As I am a Christian (while this article is not religious in nature), I feel a need to speak out for the Bible. There is not one verse of the Bible that condemns self-stimulation. There is not one that insinuates such a condemnation. Yet, day after day, we hear preachers condemn masturbation as a sin. Their arguments?
There is the argument that sex was created for mutual pleasure: Yes; I agree. Sex was. But masturbation is not sex. It is sexual, and many other things are sexual, but it is not sexual intercourse in itself. Sex is for mutual benefits; masturbation is for personal benefits. Two different things. Yet, as I shall show later, masturbation can be helpful in enhancing sexual intercourse. Not only is it not a sin, it is a good thing.
There is also the argument that Jesus said if you lust after the opposite sex in your mind, you are sinning. Yes; that is correct too, but then what part of physically stimulating yourself with the hands, fingers or any other object is lusting after someone in your mind? If a Christian lusts after someone in their heart while masturbating, then such a one has crossed the line that Jesus drew. That does not make masturbation in itself a sin. That person has merely corrupted a clean act and needs to deal with his or her thoughts.
Someone asked me yesterday how I want to prove that “those activities are censored and powered by the Holy Spirit”. Let me ask a question in response: Have you ever given any thought to what happens during actual sexual intercourse? A man and a woman panting, sweating and heaving like two idiots. All those cool looking dudes in suits (yes; that includes me) don’t look so cool when banging their women and look like grotesque demons when having an orgasm. What seems Holy Ghost approved and powered about a hormone-raging man ramming a stiff rod into a woman again and again and having her moan like an animal? And as for the women, all those prim and proper women we see in public often look like demon-possessed pagan priestesses during intercourse.
Seriously, apart from the “Jesus!! Jesus!!” that some of the women cry out when in the throes of a good romp or an orgasm, there cannot be anything about sex that looks like the Holy Ghost gives approval to the activity. Yet, He does. Case closed. The issue of Holy Ghost approval and all that is in the mind. The Bible that Christians claim to uphold does not make an issue of these things or of masturbation.
I am tired of Christians being so close-minded that they manufacture rules to help God. First, God doesn’t need your help. Second, take a look around you and ask yourself if this close-mindedness has helped your homes. Sexually dissatisfied husbands and wives everywhere, many of whom will not speak out though their marriages are in shambles. And many of them stubbornly refusing to look at facts when presented to them. Their call still.

Masturbation Is Addictive

Yes; it is. But then, so are mobile phones, food, chocolate, wine, Coke, Twitter, Facebook and football. Yet, no-one is screaming “Sin!!!” for all those. Oh, even sexual intercourse itself is addictive. Let’s just lay aside all those things because they are addictive; shall we? No; how to deal with anything that has the potential for being addictive is not to stay away from it, but to exercise moderation.

Masturbation Is Not A Dirty habit

Some people call masturbation a dirty habit. In what sense? It produces mostly the same results as sexual intercourse – the man ejaculates. The woman has an orgasm and in some cases squirts. What else? Masturbation is just as dirty as sexual intercourse is, as far as I can tell.

Masturbation Is Healthy

In general, the medical community considers masturbation to be a natural and harmless expression of sexuality for both men and women. It does not cause any physical injury or harm to the body, and can be performed in moderation throughout a person’s lifetime as a part of normal sexual behavior. Source
If you use other objects apart from your hands, be careful though so you don’t hurt yourself. Perhaps you should visit a sex shop for some toys instead.

APC Chairman In Lagos Caught NAK£D Performing Rituals In The Forest

A shocking video allegedly showing a Lagos State politician performing a strange ritual while naked has been posted on the internet by a controversial Nigerian pastor.
The video titled, ‘APC – A Satanic Party’ was posted on video-sharing website YouTube by ‘Archbishop Samson Mustapha Benjamin’, the General Overseer of Lagos based ministry Resurrection Praise Ministries International, popularly known as ‘Jehovah Sharp-Sharp’.
In it, a man he alleges to be Hon. Olusola Israel Adekunle, the local government chairman of Alimosho, Lagos, is seen stark naked in a swampy area sitting on a horse. He is heard muttering some unintelligible words before pouring a reddish substance all over him which the cleric described as ‘human blood’.
The video was preempted by an article on a Nigerian blog several months ago, revealing that during the ‘ritual’, Hon Adekunle had placed curses on his political enemies while appealing for favour in the eyes of the national leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
In his comments, ‘Archbishop’ Benjamin alleges that the same ritual has been undertaken by all prominent members of APC, describing the political party as ‘satanic’.
“Has Papa E.A Adeboye of RCCG allowed Pastor Prof. Yemi Osibanjo go through the same ritual process or will he allow him to do it,” the cleric then ponders, insisting that although Adeboye is his spiritual father, he has permitted politics to compromise his Christian faith.

Adekunle has yet to respond to the divisive video.
